Created and directed by Rohit Shetty with a story and script by Sandeep Saket and Anusha Nandkumar, Ayush Trivedi, Vidhi Ghodgaonkar, and Sanchit Bedre, the web series Indian Police Force is directed by Rohit Shetty and Sushwanth Prakash. The Indian Police Force is live on OTT (Over-The-Top media service) platform Amazon Prime Video.
The series is about the police network of India under initial reports from the Intelligence Bureau. After reviewing the series, though not credited, it makes clear that the series evolves around the extremism of Indian Mujahideen leader Yasin Bhatkal.
Indian Police Force Review: What Makes it Binge
Police Comissioner of Delhi Vikram Bakshi (played by Vivek Oberoi) lasts for two episodes and a few minutes only where Vivek plays a brave Cop and dies saving a kid.
The DCP (Deputy Superintendent of Police) Kabir Malik (played by Sidharth Malhotra) leads the unit under command of Gujarat ATS (Anti-Terrorism Squad) Chief Tara Shetty (played by Shilpa Shetty) performs well at their best with drama and action. Being a black Belt of Karate, Shilpa Shetty, in her mid 40s performed well as Sidharth Malhotra with hiks flexibility and similar actions as the film Mission Majnu.
Indian Police Force Review: What Didn’t work
Police Comissioner of Delhi Vikram Bakshi had the gun and clear head shot, but you have to forget logic if you are watching any entertainment movie or Web series. Vivek Overoi missed the head shot before dying, that is not tolerable for a Commsioner of Poice. In hand, Beretta 9mm, Vivek should have clear head shot, but faild as an psycho.
Verdict
Unless paid reviewers like Subhra, Saibal and other national media reviewers, I am not willing to give a 5 star, nor rating it as a spoiler. Though Rohit Shetty missed a logic where Vivek Oberoi gets two bullet wounds shot by single direction, the series is a big entertertainer for Shetty’s film lovers. However, I must say that, “forget logic if you need entertaintment.”
