One NDFB killed at Chirang

One NDFB cadre, identified as Sanjay Basumatary(24), son of Sitol Basumatary of South Batabari village under Sidli police station in the district of Chirang was killed in an encounter with Army and police personnel yesterday night at Aie-powali under Bengtol police outpost. Police recovered one 9 mm pistol, one magazine, 4 live bullets, one mobile handset and Rs 170 from him. The post mortem of the death body has been done at R.N. Brahma civil hospital Kokrajhar today.
