ANLA cadre arrested in Udalguri

The 315 Field Regiment(KARGIL) stationed in Udalguri district achieved yet another success with the apprehension of an ANNLA cadre in Udalguri district on 15 Dec 10. Acting on a tip off regarding the presence of an ANNLA cadre, Army troops rushed to the area and nabbed the armed cadre who was identified as Bimal Khaka.The cadre was in possession of a pistol, ammunition and extortion letters.During the course of questioning the individual confessed to be operating from a hideout in Kokrajhar district alongwith other cadres.The security force was on lookout for Bimal Khaka who had been absconding for some time.His apprehension has been a major setback for the terrorist outfit and a relief for the business community who were being threatened by Bimal Khaka.
