Assamese Journalist to speak in 7th Global Conference in France

Famous Journalist of Assam Jitu Kalita is all set to attend the 7Th Global Conference from 24’th to 26’th September at Evian in France as a special guest speaker. The subject for this year’s discussion will be on International forum for a Sustainable Development which is one of the most pressing issues of the world at present times. Leaders from the various parts of the horizon are likely to attend the summit to broaden the scope and challenge conventional thinking.

While the aim of the workshop named Planetworkshop is to connect major leaders and thinkers in order to implement initiatives with positive social and environmental impact and serve as a communication channel between opinion leaders, business experts, NGO’s and the media, the conference will also tackle the question, Age of Co-construction or Triumph of Competition.

More than 900 leading international experts and opinion leaders, such as CEO’s, politicians, scientist, leaders of NGO’s, general experts, intellectuals and journalists meet to exchange and map out solutions needed to face present challenges.

Primarily Jitu Kalita who has shot to the limelight by his association with Jadav Payeng, Forest man of India who was awarded the prestigious title by Jawaharlal Nehru University for growing a 550 Acres of forest single handed in Kartik Sapori- a white sand bar in Kokilamukh of Jorhat. Reliable sources have confirmed to the accompanying of Jadav Payeng along with Jitu Kalita to attend the conference at France. While Jadav Payeng was not immediately available for a comment, it is assumed that Jadav Payeng is more or less against publicity.

Jitu Kalita is expected to bring laurels to the country and specially to Assam and will be able to guide the people with new concept of conservation/ preservation of the bio-diversity of this region in which Jitu Kalita so much excels.
