DOWRY issue grows spontaneously

It seems Dowry has become an essential part of Assamese society now a days. While more than 25 women are being killed in average ratio per month, due to Dowry issue, in Assam, no civic attention towards this issue have been observed yet.

One Manjit Sharma (25), son of Late Ajit Sharma and Mina Devi of Kahilipara, Guwahati has been seriously beaten up by his brother in law Padmanag Dev alongwith his family members for the reason of Dowry in Silchar today. Later on, Mr Sharma has been admitted at Guwahati Medical Hospital in serious condition.
