Three ULFA militants surrender in Meghalaya

Three ULFA militants surrendered before police in Meghalaya today and deposited some automated weapons with ammunitions. Self-Styled 2nd Lieutenant Basanta Goswami alias Pallav Barua, Sergeant Sarbajeet Konwar alias Anik and another cadre Niranjan Roy surrendered before a joint team of Assam and Meghalaya Police at Rongrenggri near Williamnagar in East Garo Hills district. They deposited two AK-81 assult rifles, two M-20 pistols and several rounds of ammunition of both the weapons. The trio has been taken to Assam.
