Two dreaded Dacoits nabbed in Nagaon

Two dreaded dacoits Abdul Zalil (20) of Silongani and Syed Ali ( 20) of Juria village of west Nagaon have been nabbed by the police from the residence of Bhagawati Prasad Dhanawal (60) of Haiborgaon on sunday evening According to police, a group of six decoits entered the house of Dhanawal with the purpose of robbery with a hand made pistol and 3 rounds of ammunition at around 6 pm.

Dhanwal who received injury on his right palm bravely fought with the culprits in which 4 decoits succeeded to run away from his house. But the two dacoits were held by the public and police on the spot. The police picked up the dacoits and brough to Haiborgaon Police station for interrogation.

Till the filling up of the report, the police has launched a search operation to apprehend the other four dacoits and the person linked up with this incident. The people has largely appreciated the police for their active role.
