: Guwahati, February 14, 2011
ULFA leaders presently are in Delhi will be on talk with Prime Minister Manmohan Singh today. Speaking to Times of Assam over Telephone this early morning, the Foreign Secretary of ULFA Shasha Chohudhury said, Sonia Gandhi also may be present in that meet, but it is yet not confirmed. For the security reasons, the Home Ministry yet not declared the venue and the time, but it is today;- Shasha Choudhury also said.
Expressing reaction about media reports about ULFA leaders’ in Delhi, Shasha Choudhury also said,- ‘We have noticed that many Assamese media are doing some biased news about our presence in Delhi with the illogical manner that we are visiting Tajmahal, etc. places. For their concern, we would like to request them to not to divert common people of Assam with such a bias reporting. Neither Tajmahal nor the rest six wonders of this world are new to us to visit again. We would like to state that it is not a time for them to do business with their reporting with such a sensitive issue. We are here with responsibility of our Nation, not to tolerate any of their masala news. If we are staying in a star hotel today, we have been through thousands of shelterless hungry nights about which no media wrote even a single word. We appeal Assamese common people to not to get diverted by such biased reports.’
