Pallab Bhattacharyya is a retired IPS officer, who served as Director-General of Civil Defence & Home Guard and Special Director General of Assam Police.

Mr. Bhattacharyya also served as the chairman of the Assam Public Public Service Commission (APSC).

Bhattacharyya is a 1986 batch IPS (39RR) cadre of Assam-Meghalaya cadre.
