Child raped in Sivasagar

One Rana Nausholia, aged 30 years, son of Indra Nausholia of Nausholia village of Bakta Nemuguri of Sivasgar district has been arrested yesterday for raping allegdly a 6 years old child of his neighbourhood. The accused took the child to his home on October 3, Sunday and raped her there.

Parents of the victim lodged a complain against the accused at local police station in October 6 and police arrested him with a case of raping minor under Indian Panel Code.

It is to be mentioned that the child abuse is increasing quite rapidly in the statewide.
