Lady patient assaulted in Moran

Mother of one Anita Nayak (26), a resident of Dumor Dalang Batwahela under the Dumor Dalang Tea Estate, has accused Dr. Hiranya Kumar Dutta, a doctor at the Dumor Dalang Tea Estate hospital, for physically assaulting and misbehaving with her daughter who is under treatment in the hospital for the past few days.

According to her, Anita fainted near the bathroom door today morning while she was going to the toilet. Seeing her daughter faint, the mother Dr. Dutta but he instead of treating the fainted patient abused her by saying that she was actually acting and did not suffer from any disease.

The news of assault spread like wild fire and local resident crowded the hospital premises against the doctor’s misbehavior. Police was called later on to bring the situation under control.
