On the other hand, The pro-talk faction of United Liberation Front of Asom (ULFA) launches a 72 hours economic blockade on the Margherita-Changlang Road to Arunachal from Wednesday in support the ongoing indefinite economic blockade against Arunachal Pradesh by All Assam Students’ Union (AASU) and Asom Jatiyatabadi Yuva Chatra Parishad (AJYCP). Meanwhile, the situation at Charaipung in Sivasagar district continues to be grim, there are reports of firing last night. The Assam government issued shoot-at-sight orders in tension-racked Charaipung area of Assam-Arunachal Pradesh border after a border dispute erupted between the two states.
