Assam Board HS 2012 result declared

Assam HSSLC Results 2012 were declared today, June 4. The Assam Higher Secondary Education Council (AHSEC) declared Class 12th examination results just before 11:00 am.

This year, the pass percentage of girls students is 75.35% against 74.63% of boys.

A total of 1,80,659 students appeared in the arts section, 18,442 in Science and 15,080,68 students appeared in the Commerce section. In the Arts section, the pass percentage is 70.23 %, in Science pass percentage of 85.58%, while in the Commerce section the pass percent is 81.87%.

In the arts section, the 1st position is jointly secured by Minakshi Kakati of Pathsala of Barpeta district and Anindita Chakrabarty of Dibrugarh with a total of 458 marks. While in Science the 1st position is secured by Sankhya Chakraborty of Silchar with a total of 482 marks.

1st position in Commerce is secured by Jugal Kishor Rathi of Silchar with a total of 446 marks.
