Manipur issue: BSF jawan killed, two soldiers injured in firing by suspected Kuki insurgents
In a clash with alleged Kuki insurgents early today in Manipur’s Serou region, a Border Security Force (BSF) jawan was killed and two Assam Rifles troops were injured, according to officials.
According to the officials, the shooting incident took occurred at a school in the Serou neighbourhood of Sugnu in the Kakching district.
According to a BSF official, suspected Kuki insurgents opened fire indiscriminately and heavily at 4.15 am on BSF personnel stationed at the Serou Practical High School.
