ULFA’s FATHER Bheemkanta Burhagohain released from Jail

The Political Advisor of United Liberation Front of Asom(ULFA) Bheemkanta Burhagohain alias Bishnujyoti Burhagohain got released from Gauhati Central Jail today. After finishing all the formalities of granted bail Burhagohain left Gauhati Jail with his hundreds of well wishers. Mass crowd and gathering of supporters welcomed Burhagohain on his release at the gate of the bail. Vice President Pradip Gogoi & retired Ramu Mech, who were also released on bail earlier accompanied the FATHER of the outfit all his ways.
Bheemkanta Burhagohain who is called as the FATHER of ULFA was under Jail custody, since he was arrested in December 2003 in Operation All-Clear in Bhutan. He was imprisoned in Tezpur Central Jail till January 2010 and was shifted to Gauhati Central Jail. It is been hoped that release of Bheemkanta Burhagohain will gear up the Lateral Talk between Government of India and the outfit.
