Twitter Blue impact – Check the list who lost blue tick
Starting from today, Elon Musk woned Twitter removed the blue check mark from verified Twitter accounts accross the world. Earlier, Twitter announced that Twitter users who pay an $8 (INR 650) monthly fee for Twitter Blue subscription have the blue check mark next to their names.
Today several celebrities, business leaders and politicians who have retained their Twitter blue ticks, either by paying for subscription or through the benefit of being affiliated with an organisation. But tons of Twitter users, having blue tick and millions of followers, have lost the blue tick. Among those who lost their Twitter blue ticks are Bollywood stars like Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, Deepika Padukone, Amitabh Bachchan, Alia Bhatt, Ratan Tata, Anand Mahindra, Arvind Kejriwal, Yogi Adityanath, Rahul Gandhi, Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, RSS, and official BJP account and more.





The Twitter account of Amazon founder Jeff Bezos, for example, is verified because “it’s an affiliate of Amazon on Twitter.” On the other hand, Paytm founder Vijay Shekhar Sharma and Apple CEO Tim Cook have paid for subscription and verified their phone numbers so their accounts are still verified.
Meanwhile, Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma’s Twitter profiles indicate he has paid the blue mark and his phone number is checked.

The same being displayed in INC (Indian National Congress), PTI (Press Trust of India) and others as paid subscriber for the blue tick.
