Husband kills wife

In a socking incident, one Molen Basumatary, aged 43 years, killed his wife Rangila Basumatary, aged 35 years, today noon around 12 at Haltugaon in Kokrajhar district. Rangila was having meal and her husband came from somewhere, attacked her with sharp weapon killing her on the spot.

The couple’s three children were at school when the incident happened. He has been arrested by Police and a case registered against him.

Neighours said that the family used to be quarrel very often but never expect that such thing is going to be happend. The couple has been married for 16 years and had three children including two girls and a son.
