Three police personnels died on the spot while few others are injured more and less. The militants later snatched away 1 AK Rifle, 1 INSAS Rifle, 1 Carbine, 3 Bullet Proof Jackets and some ammunitions from the patrol party. The slain personnels have been identified as Havaldar Blein Makharoh, constable Duke M sangma and constable Johnhigbirth Marak while the injureds are identified as onstables G G Momin and M Rymbai. G G Momin later on was rushed to Guwahati under critical condition.
What is this GNLA, everyday a new one in NE (..lol)? What do they want? Meghalaya is already one Garo state, so what else liberation, sovereignty?
What right NDFB have to kill someone in Meghalaya? They should stay in their own region. Arm revolution do not mean there should not be any ethics and you will kill anyone anywhere, if this will continue tomorrow some outfit will form and will start killing all BODO in their den, I feel this only left to happen and will see it soon!!
