GNM nurse raped by Doctor at Jagiroad

Dr Atul Chandra Patar, a senior doctor of Jhargaon Block Model Hospital, Jagiroad has been arrested on charge of raping a nurse (name with held) on Friday midnight, July 22, 2011.

The victim, who is a GNM nurse under NRHM, revealed that she was called by Dr Patar to an empty room after her duty at the maternity was over. Later Dr Patar forecfully established physical relation with her. She also said that Dr Patar tried to involve her in physical intimacy a number of times earlier, but without any success.
