ULFA C-in-C Paresh Baruah rejects Ceasefire

The hardliner faction of ULFA led by C-in-C Paresh Baruah today rejects the Ceasefire decision announced by the outfits Chairman Arabinda Rajkhowa on yesterday. In a press release signed and sent by ULFA C-in-C Paresh Baruah, it has been said that according to the constitution of ULFA, no member or leader have the right to take any organizational decision without returning back to the outfit. ‘They are released from Jail on bail, but they are not free from enemy. They do not have the right to declare ceasefire until they return back to the outfit. Ceasefire can be declared by them who are fighting, not by them who have positioned themselves with enemies.’- the outfit said. Paresh Baruah also announced that the outfit will continue its armed struggle against Union of India.
