3 army jawan killed in ambush and 3 injured at Tirap

Three army jawan have been killed and three other injured in an ambush by militants at Tirap district of Arunachal Pradesh on Thursday 02, 2015.

The official sources also said that the combing operation is going on in the place of Arunachal pradesh at Tirap district of Arunachal Pradesh.

The other three causalities were have been shifted to Dinjan Army base hospital for better treatment.

The convoy was on way to duty from Khonsat to Tuki village side at around 8.30 am at morning.

Earlier on February – one of the nine Assam Rifle jawan – had been injured in IED blast near India-Myanmar border in Changlang district of Arunachal Pradeh. Out of this three Jawan including one porter had died .

Several militant outfit of the region – including NDFB(S), NSCN(IM), NSCN(K), Manipur’s Peoples Liberation ARMY (PLA) and United National Liberation Front (UNLF) are active in both southern district of Arunachal Pradesh – Tirap and Changlang bordering Myanmar on its east.

Till filing this no militant group has claimed responsibility.
