One hardcore ULFA cadre named Hodeswar Neog, aged 25 years, has been arrested after a heavy gunbattle with 8 Garhwal Rifles and Tinsukia Police at Kakopathar.
The militant Hodeswar Neog is belongs to the 28 Battalion of the outfit & is a resident of Bormachhai Simalguri under Kakopathar Police Station.
The force of operation have recovered one 9mm pistol & four live bullet from the hardcore militant who alone forced the joint operation unit of Army & Police to be busy for a heavy gunbattle.
