Eminent Assamese litterateur Imran Shah was elected as the new president of the influential Asom Sahitya Sabha in a landslide victory over his two nearest rivals today.
The result was declared at Kaliabor in Nagaon district in the presence of the office bearers of the apex literary organisation of the state.
