Suspended BJP MP Kirti Azad claims that he has evidence of the corruption in DDCA and he expects Prime Minister Narendra Modi to support him, since he is just fighting corruption.
Hours after the winter session of Parliament concluded, the BJP issued a one-line statement: “Kirti Azad, Darbhanga MP, is suspended from party with immediate effect for his anti-party activities.”
Azad told media that he would file a PIL in the Delhi High Court on the alleged irregularities in the DDCA because the CBI is moving very slow.
Kirti Azad had obliquely taken on Arun Jaitley in Parliament, seeking a CBI investigation monitored by a special investigation team into his allegations. Without naming Mr Jaitley, he had signed off saying, “and we know who was heading the (Delhi cricket body) DDCA between 2008 and 2013”.
