Three arrested with arms in Kokrajhar

Joint operation unit of Assam police, BSF and Army apprehended 3 suspected members of Muslim United Liberation Tiger of Assam(MULTA) along with arms late last evening around 8 pm from Bandarchora under Salakati Police outpost in Kokrajhar.

Police sources said the suspected militant members were arrested in a regular joint checked at Bandarchora under Salakati police outpost while they were on way to Kokrajhar. Police recovered two revolvers, 12 round live ammunition, two hand made grenade and a Maruti wagnar vehicle(AS-01 W-2409). They are identified as Atoar Ali(26),Badsah Ali(27) of Satipur Chirang and Sana Miya ali(28) of Kangra Barpeta district.
