ULFA Hardliner faction alerts for Fake extortion


ULFA hardliner faction has alerted people about fake extortion in the name of the outfit in Tinsukia district. In a press release sent to Times of Assam, the publicity commander of the hardliner faction, Arunodoy Dohotiya has again clarified that United Liberation Front of Asom (ULFA) is not involved in the extortion incidents that has recently been reported in Tinsukia District’s Kakopathar, Dumduma, Makum and some other places.

In the same press release, Arunodoy Dohotiya also added that a notorious gang is involved in the incidents, who has been using ULFA’s pad and stamp. ULFA has never and will ever harass the small entrepreneurs and respected school teachers by demanding money from them, the press release further stated. Through the release he has also urged the public not to associated themselves with this organisation.
