One ULFA arrested in Amguri with IED

One hardcore ULFA cadre named Hiteswar Baruah has been arrested by Police in Khanikar village of Amguri area of Sivasagar district, today afternoon.  One IED bomb is also recovered from him. Police caught him on his wayto Amguri. Police source stated that the ULFA cadre demanded Rs 8 Lac from an ONGC employee named Ramesh Baruah, but Mr Baruah denied to pay and reported it to Police. On Mr Baruah’s information Police have been able to nab the ULFA cadre, who belongs to Deodhai village of Amguri.
