Department of POSTS Organizes World PHILATELIC EXHIBITION INDIPEX-2011
In a press release the Department of Posts, Government of India announced, today, about World Philatelic Exhibition (INDIPEX-2011) from 12th to 18th, February 2011. In order to generate interest in Philately among children and youth, the department will organize Quiz, Stamp and Letter Writing competitions among the various categories of students.
The Divisional level competition will be held at Guwahati, Nalbari, Dhubri, Silchar, Dibrugarh, Tinsukia, Jorhat, Tezpur and Nagaon which will be followed by Circle level competition in Guwahati and zonal level competition in Kolkata. National level competition will be held in New Delhi. Expenses for the participants will be borne by the department. There will be prizes upto Rs. 50,000/- for the Winning team/participants of different levels.
