BPF MLA arrested for BTAD violence

Assam police today arrested Bodoland People’s Front(BPF) MLA Pradeep Brahma following reports of his alleged involvement in the Assam unrest over BTAD violence. Seven cases have been registered against him on the basis of statements.

Assam police have imposed indefinite curfew in Kokrajhar as a precautionary measure over his arrest.

Mentionable that several organizations claimed BPF’s hand in BTAD violence.
