One Assamese guy named Pritam Bhattacharjee is missing since Monday, July 09 afternoon from Naugachia in Bihar. A mob in train openly snatched his laptop bag which also contained his certificates and threatened him at the Naugachia Station. Pritam then ran after the mob to get the bag and he missed the train. Pritam called his parents for three times about the incident.
The last call Pritam made was to his father at around 3:30 pm of that day. He was traveling in Avadh Assam Express from Guwahati to Delhi. According to his father, Pritam after getting down at Naugachia railway station informed about the mob to the TTE at the station and a uniformed person present at the station. Pritam’s parents complained to Superintendent of Railway Police on 10th July 2012. Bihar Chief Minister and Home Minister of India was also informed about the incident. Police is trying to detect his location with the help of his mobile phone. But while contacting to AIRTEL, they came to know that his phone is turned off from last three days.
Missing Pritam Bhattacharjee, aged 25 years, is a resident of Silchar of Assam. He is an MSc graduate in Physics and was going to Delhi for pursue his PhD in Quantum Physics from Delhi university.
