In a dramatic scenario, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), is facing massive defeat in state assembly elections of Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Telangana, and Mizoram.

The final counting is yet to be declared as ‘completed’ – the Indian National Congress (INC) is leading far ahead in all 4 states in comparison to the BJP.

In Rajasthan, the INC is leading towards victory, leaving the BJP far behind in majority mark. Assembly election in Rajasthan was held on 07 December 2018.

In Madhya Pradesh, though the BJP gave a quality contest, still the INC is leading towards the majority mark. In Madhya Pradesh, the elections were held on 28 November 2018.

In Chattishgarh, the INC has already set at the majority mark, leaving the BJP far behind with a huge margin. Elections in Chattishgarh were held in two phases dated 12 November 2018 and 20 November 2018.

In Telangana, though the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) is set to form the coming government with a massive victory, the BJP faced massive damage in comparison to the INC. Elections in the Telangana were held on 07 December 2018.

The Mizo National Front (MNF) has set themselves as the majority beating the INC in Mizoram. The poll count shows the voters of Mizoram strongly rejected both the INC and BJP. Mizoram had their assembly elections on 28 November 2018.

Such a dramatic poor performance of the giant BJP has put the party in trouble as Lok Sabha elections are nearing in 2019 at an early phase.
