A tribute to late Paniram Das

Times of Assam pay tribute with honor to noted Gandhibadi, Social Activist Late Paniram Das of Kalaigaon, Mangaldai. Das passed away on November 30, in his age of 94 years. Being a social activist since his youth Paniram Das joined the Non-violent Movement initiated by Mahatma Gandhi. Late Paniram Das was popularly known as a social activist by heart for his helping hand for the society.
Late Das was hospitalized in International Hospital of Guwahati since November 26.
It should be mentioned that Paniram Das’s eldest son Mr. Jayanta Kumar Das is contributing News to Times of Assam from Udalguri district. The team of Times of Assam pay tribute to Paniram Das and condolence for his family.
