Akhil Gogoi charged again

Akhil Gogoi, leader of Krishak Mukti Sangram Samiti (KMSS) was charged  with 2 cases against him, a day after the Gauhati High Court released him from all charges leveled against him in connection to the chaotic situation of June 22nd last.

Sources reveal to Times of Assam that six (6) additional charges were registered against the peasant leader at Dispur Police Station, out which four (4) were labeled against him on Friday.

The two remaining cases, number 1265/11 and 1257/11, against which the administration has not filed a charge sheet as of yet gives them the liberty to arrest Akhil Gogoi.
